Not all products need an official launch event to be released in the market. The latest example of this particular scenario is the new Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook - which made its first appearance two months ago at CES’12 – that is now readily available in Malaysia since earlier this week through Dell Malaysia’s official website and authorized retailers.
With a price tag that starts from RM 3,499 onwards, users can pretty much expect the usual internal hardware that are common inside an Ultrabook such as the second generation Intel Core processors and solid state drives as well as 4GB worth of DDR3 memories. However, Dell has also equipped the new Ultrabook with a rather unique physical design by combining two different materials – carbon fiber as its base and aluminum as its top - into a single compact package with an 11-inch footprint.
Not to forget, the new Ultrabook also comes with edge-to-edge 13.3-inch 720p display with Corning Gorllia Glass as well as a backlit keyboard. In conjunction with the release of XPS 13 Ultrabook here, Dell Malaysia is also giving away a free USB external optical drive for the first 50 customers.
