The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 somehow has a rather unique reputation of its own. First revealed at IFA last year, it also appeared on the headlines after being rushed out from Samsung booth at that event due to some legal complications with Apple. Few days ago, the tablet grabbed our attention once again when we learned that it is coming here to Malaysia but today, we found out that it will be heading to stores…tomorrow.

Ahead of it's official launch in Malaysia, we've managed to get our hands on the tablet in question at a preview specially for American Express cardholders. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display and measures a very svelte 7.89mm thin. The Tab 7.7 weighs in at 340g and it's quite a difference from my brick like iPad 1.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has 16GB built in memory and expandable with a microSD card (up to 32GB). Camera wise the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a little bit of a letdown with only a 3MP main shooter and 2MP forward face which, honestly is diddly squat compared to say, the Galaxy Note. Battery wise, the Tab 7.7 is powered by a 5,100mAh battery which should more than suffice for all usage. The 7.7 is powered by Honeycomb 3.2 which should be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich in the future.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will be available tomorrow from Samsung retail outlets and distributors for an RRP of RM2,099.
