Samsung Galaxy S II owners, your wait is finally coming to an end, it looks like you can finally get to enjoy some Ice Cream Sandwich on your device as soon as 10 March 2012 (U.S. time which would be 11 March 2012 for us. Available via KIES 2.0 or FOTA, you can now enjoy new features such as Face Unlock and Android Beam, Mobile Network Data usage function and enjoy an improved multi-tasking experience. As stated on Samsung’s support page, the update is available for the global model of the Galaxy S II – GT-I9100 so you should be getting yours too.

Do note that because of ICS OS feature, Adobe Flash and Bluetooth 3.0 HS will not be supported (Bluetooth 3.0 is safe though). Read through for more information from Samsung before proceeding with the update.
