Google is ready to unveil the Nexus 4 on October 29th, and pretty much every detail about the device has already leaked out by now. Today a new Nexus render from @evleaks confirms a minor detail that we first reported on a couple weeks ago. A brief hands-on report we shared said the device had “Nexus written on the back like the Nexus 7″ and it appears that will remain with the final release. Our source said, “The ‘X’ [in the word Nexus] is in four colors” and we provided a mockup image of what the final design could look like. Today’s image shows the Nexus logo on the back in a single color, so either design could turn out to be true. Some have also pointed out that today’s render was Photoshopped, but it looks like someone just inserted an Android home screen as a place holder. We are fairly confident this is what the final design will look like and @evleaks has proven to be a reliable source in the past. (source)
