It looks like Ultrabooks are the latest craze in the notebook world, with the small form factor, combined with quite beefy specs, its definitely no wonder. The Ultrabook that isn't really one, the Macbook Air is a hugely popular machine amongst the Mac faithful and an object of desire among the potential converts.
Several rumours have been making their way around that Apple may be coming out with an ultralight 15inch portable laptop as part of the Macbook Pro family for people who want both screen real estate and portability. Kind of an exercise in redundancy but I sure would like to see how a no-optical drive, SSD 15incher would fare. There is plenty of time however, as these are only planned to be shown to the world come March 2012.
