With the ultrabook craze kicking into high gear, Lenovo are the latest to the game, launching their revamped ultrabook version of their U series notebooks, the U300s and U300e. While it may not be the thinnest on the market, the U300s and U300e retains the styling from the previous U series laptop and concentrate on giving a no-compromise ultrabook experience, with features such as a full sized HDMI port as well as dual fans, to keep your lap and palms as cool as possible.

The U300s features the Intel Core i7-2677M Sandy Bridge Processor, 4GB RAM and up to 256GB SSD while the U300e features the Intel Core i5-2467M Processor with a 1TB HD or 64GB SSD. The U300s is a standardised 14.9mm thin and weighs in at a cool 1.28kg, putting it right up there with the best of them.

The Lenovo U300s will be available come late November for a RRP of RM3,299 for the base model in Malaysia. The U300e will be available at a later date and the price is yet to be announced. Sources say that it will be quite a bit cheaper than the U300s. Both laptops come in graphite grey colour ways with the U300s available in limited edition Clementine Orange.
