In what seems to be a very productive start for Radeon’s brand this year, the graphics hand of AMD kicked off its 2012 campaign starting with the HD 7970 and the recent HD 7950. Obviously, the HD 7000 series release will not only stop at these two cards as one can expect to see more to be rolled out very soon according to the leaked roadmap below. The document has since been removed at the request of its owner but not before someone saved it first.
In the middle of this month, the market will see the release of AMD Radeon HD 7770 and HD 7750 which are targeted towards the mainstream market. In March, more enthusiast-level cards will follow through in the form of HD 7870 and 7850. Also in the list is the dual-core monster HD 7990 but no date has been provided for the HD 6990 replacement.
So, if you are in the market of an AMD graphics card, looks like you will be spoilt for choice within the next two month. The only thing left now is the capability of your wallet to provide the necessary funding for one (or two or three if you are hardcore like that) of these new Radeon HD 7000 graphics cards.
