Still remember Microsoft's recent announcement? While they have previously pointed out that Windows 8 will arrive on consumers hand sometime in “late October”, this time around they have announced an exact date and the date is 26 October 2012.
The revelation was made by Steven Sinofsky, the President of Windows and Windows Live Division over at Microsoft during a recent annual sales meeting and this date applies to both upgrade channels as well as via new PCs. So, if you are planning to obtain the operating system, do keep a close look at your favourite IT retailer around that day to make your move.
