Using a Sony Xperia phone? Well, it’s about time you check for an Ice Cream Sandwich update because you’ll soon be getting the Android 4.0 update from Sony over the next few weeks. Just last week, Sony announced the treat for Xperia P and starting from this week, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia mini, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Xperia ray will receive the update that comes with bug fixes and performance tweaks along with a host of other improvements.
The update will start off with Xperia mini pro and Xperia neo L and Live with Walkman so if you own any of the above mentioned devices, do check for an update regularly. For Gingerbread users, you must plug in your phone and upgrade using PC companion or Bridge for Mac. As for those who already have ICS on your Xperia, the company also has an update for you – Android 4.0.4 – that come with all the improvements.
